Benjamin is undoubtedly one of the most famous architects in Costa Rica. After studying architecture in Costa Rica and the United States, he became the youngest partner at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (originally known as the Richard Rogers Partnership), one of the most distinguished architectural firms in the world, and simultaneously set up his private practice in Costa Rica, Studio Saxe, where he developed projects both in Costa Rica and throughout Latin America.
Not only does Benjamin have highly solid references and numerous international architecture awards under his belt, his vision of architecture perfectly matches the inner logic of the Altos de Malpais project. Benjamin creates pure, modern and sustainable residential architecture that blends harmoniously into its landscape.
Having already developed numerous projects in Mal Pais, he is also well-versed in the region’s specific characteristics.
Contacting Benjamin was the obvious way forward. Only days after we had met, he was already with us visiting our sites in Mal Pais and was immediately inspired by their enormous potential.
